Michael Triplett – Managing Director

Michael Triplett is a managing partner and joined Insight in 1998. Mike focuses on investments in Infrastructure and Application Software companies and has been instrumental in investments in more than twenty companies, many of which have achieved fast growth and realized significant value for shareholders and employees. Notable among these are the IPOs of Click Commerce, Solarwinds Inc. (NYSE: SWI), and Quest Software, and the acquisitions of Aelita Software (acquired by Quest Software), Authorize.net (acquired by Go2Net), Astaro (acquired by Sophos), BeyondTrust (acquired by Veritas Capital), Imceda Software (acquired by Quest Software), eEye Digital Security (acquired by BeyondTrust), Folhamatic (acquired by Sage plc), GFI’s TeamViewer (acquired by Permira), Kabum! (purchased by founders), Metalogix (acquired by Permira), and ScriptLogic (acquired by Quest Software). Recently Mike has invested in several companies in Europe and the United States.

Mike currently oversees Insight’s investments or serves on the board of directors at N2W, 5nine Software, Acronis, GFI Software, IKANO/Virtacore, Kaseya, Parallels, SmartBear, ThreatTrack, Unitrends and Veeam.

Prior to joining Insight, Mike was an investment professional at Summit Partners, where he focused on investments in infrastructure and enterprise application software companies. Previously in his career, Mike worked as a financial analyst at Morgan Stanley & Co. and at Midland Data Systems.

Mike graduated cum laude from Dartmouth College with a BA in Economics.

Philip Vorobeychik – Vice President

Philip Vorobeychik joined Insight Venture Partners in 2010 and focuses on infrastructure and application software companies. Philip has been involved in 19 stand-alone investments and 20 add-on acquisitions spanning over 10 countries. He currently serves as a board member at Kaseya, FireMon, Thycotic, LiveAction, Tricentis, Prevalent, and N2W, and works closely with the management teams at Veeam, Cylance, and others. These investments include both small and mid-sized companies, with a variety of capital structures and exit strategies.

Philip graduated with honors from Cornell University with a degree in Applied Economics and Management. Prior to joining Insight, he founded several internet ventures, including a series of specialty eCommerce stores. Philip is fluent in Russian and has been interested in technology since he began building computers and software as a middle schooler.

Emmet B. Keeffe III – Venture Partner

Emmet B. Keeffe III is a Venture Partner at Insight Venture Partners and joined the firm in 2014. He is passionate about accelerating Digital transformation at large global companies by driving the awareness and adoption of transformative enterprise software by global IT organizations. Emmet is leveraging his vast personal rolodex to build Insight Ignite, an innovation program that delivers Innovation Briefings, an Innovation Roundtable Services, and Growth Advisory Board opportunities to global IT leaders. Emmet also brings extensive experience as an entrepreneur to advise portfolio CEOs on sales, marketing, and business development growth strategies. He is a Board Director at Tricentis, Resolve Systems, Logtrust and WalkMe and a member of the Growth Advisory Boards at Fenergo, Diligent, Mirantis, Skytap and FireMon within the Insight portfolio.

In 1998, Emmet co-founded iRise and invented the market for “Collaborative Visualization” which has become the world’s leading provider of software visualization with nearly 1,000 customers worldwide. While CEO, Emmet founded the “Innovation Roundtable Series” with a vision to deliver world-class thought leadership and networking opportunities to CIOs at large global companies. The Roundtables have been attended by thousands of IT leaders globally and the program leveraged motorsports as a paradigm and networking platform.

Finally, Emmet is a Resident Expert at the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford and is passionate about international peace and global sustainability. He an Advisory Board member at Peace One Day and a Board Trustee at the Royal Society Southeast Asia Rain Forest Research Programme (SEARRP).

Emmet holds a BA from the University of California at Berkeley. He lives in London and enjoys his family, driving Radical SR3’s, traveling, photography, running, skiing and playing drums in his blues rock band.
